Dirty Scanner...

Before I start painting I thought I'd give you a better look at the first Subtle Knife illustration from a scanner not a camera phone.



Here we go.

Another Subtle Knife sketch

Popped this out really quick.

This is an early scene from the Subtle Knife where witch queen Ruta Skadi follows rebel angels from Cittàgazze into Lord Asriel's world. Lord Asriel's world is a dark colorless place so there's a stark contrast between the two worlds.
